Forgeborne, initially called Men of Fire, are a type of animate construct created by fusing the souls of multiple beings together to form a single poly-soul. This process can presumably be undertaken by any species save the Volagog who lack souls though whether or not it would work on a dragon is unknows as dragons are not only uninterested in becoming a Forgeborne but are actively angered by the suggestion of becoming one.
